Mayweather Marquez 24/7 Episode Three Ending Sequence by John Tipton on YouTube

I can’t count the amount of times I’ve watched this closing sequence. It’s the most compelling two minutes I’ve ever seen. I first came across it a few months back on John Tipton’s website. Tipton has worked with HBO on their ever-successful 24/7 series as DP.

The shots he worked to orchestrate are breathtaking. The flag, the cabbie turning down the side street, the fire breathing busker or the gym owner closing his garage door – all if it is stunning. Pushing in and through the boxing gym helped inspired the opening sequence for Unfinished Business.

HBO has lead the way in sports docu-series, in part to their stacking of talent behind the camera.
